New Beginnings offers extended day care between the hours of 8:00am-9:00am (before school) and 1:00pm-3:30pm (after school). Children must already be enrolled at New Beginnings Preschool and must be between the ages of 32 months and 5 years old (i.e., enrolled in the Yellow, Green and Blue Rooms).
Extended care is provided using child-care tickets. Child-care tickets are available for $400 for 25 hours of extended care and may be purchased from the Director throughout the year. Child-care tickets are only available for New Beginnings families.
No portion of an unused ticket will be refunded or credited to regular tuition fees; however, they may be transferred from one year to the next, or from one sibling to another, as long as the family has children enrolled in the school for consecutive years.
It is imperative that children in extended care are picked up on time. Parents must call the school immediately if they see that they are going to be late. A ten-minute grace period will be allowed three times during the year. A child picked up after this grace period will be charged $1 per minute, which is paid to the teacher on duty at the time of pickup.
